Current & Upcoming Shows

The fall semester of my college studies has begun, and it’s busy here in the Arrant home. I’m glad to say that I was awarded a scholarship for my collegiate endeavors, I’m currently on display in two regional shows and I’ve just submitted for a third. On Tuesday I was interviewed by local NPR affiliate WKGC for a visual arts program hosted by Bay Arts Alliance’s Jennifer Jones. I expect that radio interview to air on Sept. 23rd on WKGC 90.7 FM.

The Takeout exhibit at the Brevart Art Museum I am exhibiting with was held over due to the turnout to the event. I currently don’t know how long the exhibit will last, so if you’re in the area call ahead to see if it’s still on display.

The second show I am a part of is the 9th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition in Ozark, Alabama’s Ann Rudd Center.

Donation to Corks ‘n’ Canvases

I have made a donation of an original piece of artwork (see image above) to Corks ‘n’ Canvases, which will feature a wine tasting and art auction on December 2nd, 2007 from 4pm-7pm. The proceeds will benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida.

Ticket prices are $25 per person in advance and $30 per person at the door.

Featured in today’s News Herald

There is a two page article in today’s edition of the Panama City News Herald about my artwork and my participation in the Wheat Thins’ ‘Women’s Expressions’ campaign. Written by David Vest, the article includes several pictures of my work.
